Marina Garden Beach Cottages is now an evolving Beach Resort with a newly built, air-conditioned country villa, and, more recently, the townside rooms. It is a work in progress by the family who is very much dedicated to making it among the best accomodations in that stretch of sand along El Nido beach. Marina Garden Beach Resort offers two very different experiences for guests. NATIVE COTTAGES Constructed with bamboo floors and woven bamboo walls, these native cottages are much like the homes of many rural families throughout the Philippines. The cottages are built on stilts, right on the beach; guests can see the sand below through the cracks of the bamboo floors. Staying in our two cottages will make your stay a truly Filipino experience--particularly ideal for budgeting backpackers hoping to explore the town for weeks or months. COUNTRY VILLA In 2007, Marina Garden opened a new wing of rooms to accommodate guests who prefer the cozy charm and comfort of home while exploring the tropics. The 13-room villa was conceptualized and designed by Ruth Ordonez, who carefully designed and handpicked every detail of the villa--from the material of the curtains down to the colors of the tiles. The result is a refreshing, shabby chic beach experience that is as comforting and inviting as the guest room at your favorite aunt's beach house. |
